What a wonderful story, Jane. Some folks go above and beyond in customer service and deserve to be celebrated. I wish the world had more people like this. I supervised staff who had to make cold calls, and they often complained about how the receptionists were rude to them. I reminded them that they perhaps were having a bad day. Maybe they just had an argument with their boyfriend, had a headache, and their boss just gave them more work to do - and you called! I suggested they try being kind and considerate. xo
