A wonderful reminder Jane, to visit that Calm Space within as well as finding those beautiful tranquil moments of nature outside... Cromford I have visited and walked along those canal banks. And it is a very peaceful spot.
Your posts always bring home to us the need for us to appreciate those little things in life, as you pointed out, the beauty of natures blooms along the way.
We often neglect the importance of gratitude in those small gestures, such a cup of tea being made and brought by our side or the gentle reminders to drink it while we are busy...
I related to that, and all the cups of tea that have been brought to me recently :-)
Sending much love dearest Jane and Tim... May you continue to discover more calm moments among the outer noise of the world.. 💖🙏 Love from all of us xx
Dearest Sue, your thoughts are so loving and we so appreciate you. You may chuckle, but I could cheerfully have let forth a volley at one particular company last week, but I held back. There is so much fractious energy flying about, I would have felt bad adding to it. We are grateful that Spring is sharing nature’s abundance. Sending you and yoru two B’s much love and I am sending you sparkly energy for you and your beautiful creativity. Soft hugs too. Xxxxxx 🩷✨🦄🌸🩷
Thank you Jane... Indeed energies are fraught with charge at the moment ready to spark ... Keeping calm, taking time to breathe and let go, is what we have trained ourselves for so long to do...
And I too have found it more difficult of late to take that breath.... But we are holding space, for we came here to do just that, being of service, holding peace within as to help balance out those sparks that fly..
Much love dear Jane and Tim... we appreciate you both.. <3 xx
Lovely, Jane. And a perfect reminder that focusing on the small (sweet) things in our daily lives help us get through the stresses. My guy and I took our first real "spring' walk today, because here in New England, we still had some snow on the ground last week. But we oohed and ahhed over the daffodils and crocus just popping up. We sat on our sunny front porch stoop and drank hot tea and savored the warmth (50 degrees, warm here). :--)
Lucinda Riley, is she the author of the Seven Sisters series? Loved it.
Hello lovely Pam, your walk and hot tea on the porch afterwards sounds wonderful. Yes, Lucinda Riley wrote the brilliant Seven Sisters series. It's lovely to hear from you. Our love to you both. Xxx 😘❤️
What a lovely post about staying calm, Jane, and I love that quote about hope. Tim's photo is stunning too. Wishing you both a wonderful, peaceful weekend. Hugs xoxo
Yes, Al. It has been so lovingly restored and as we stood inside we could feel the layers of history, brought alive by the old photographs they have found. No power or running water, yet surrounded by a wealth of nature. There was a board outside where they have recorded the names of all the wildlife that has been seen there. Much love to you and Patty. Hi UB. I'm testing if I can comment if I come direct through Substack. xoxo
Receiving you loud and clear, our special UB. Thank you. Much love to you from us both. Xxxxx 🩷🦄🩷

Looking at that photo, the word exquisite comes to mind.
