THANK YOU , Jane, for sharing this wisdom you and Tim are accumulating! When I was (mis)diagnosed with multiple myeloma and eventually re-diagnosed with a more obscure (and so far treatable) medical condition, I told very few people. This happened, coincidentally, just as COVID took over all of our lives; so I was very aware that everyone already had a LOT on their emotional plates, and I didn't want to add to anyone else's burden of challenging news. Instead I led a nightly sing-along via Facebook Live for many months. in order to comfort both myself and others. This sentence from your blog post jumped out at me in particular: "Tim and I share the belief that everyone is doing their best, and even if they are not, it makes our world bearable to believe they are." Somehow it puts a big smile on my face every time I read it. May you and Tim do exactly what you need to do right now! I send loving and respectful thoughts across the Atlantic from East Arlington, MA in the USA.
Oh, Will, we are so sorry you were misdiagnosed and then rediagnosed. That must have been a fearful rollercoaster, and with the addition of COVID and lockdowns in your landscape...oh my gosh. The pressure must have been immense. How like you to turn it into something creative and uplifting. Your shared sing-along was such a loving thing to do. We applaud you.
We also hope you are managing your condition and the treatment. We are sending you much love and healing thoughts, and are very grateful to you for your understanding and loving message. Much love and hugs from Wales to you. Xxx 🩷
My current prognosis and treatment plan are very optimistic, which is partly why I am finally sharing some news about what the last few years have included for me. Let's keep our focus on kindness and love and respect as. much as humanly possible — with a little music and some flowers thrown into the mix whenever possible! ps: My initial diagnosis is what inspired me to learn how to release music digitally/worldwide; so I am grateful for how my mysterious health situation has acted as a catalyst in this regard! Deep breath in. Deep breath out.
We are glad your current prognosis and treatment are very optimistic. It's a fine line on what you share and can manage when you feel so vulnerable. Yes, to music and flowers, Will. It's wonderful to see nature starting to spring forth after winter.
Life's serendipity that your initial diagnosis inspired you to release your music digitally/worldwide.
Deep breath in. Deep breath out. ( I had forgotten your loving mantra). Xxx 🩷
Many people don't know how to react in situations like this. Unfortunately, some respond with unsolicited advice. Showing compassion and being a good listener are usually good choices.
Hugs to you and Tim, Jane. This is Pete Springer. I cleared out my cache, and I think I might be "anonymous" again.
Always send a loving thought to you and Tim, Jane. I pray for Tim each night. Bless you both. ❤️

Clarity is our touchstone. 💜
Kindness lands differently when life takes a turn we would never have wanted. And the golden few who get it right become our treasure.
Love the flowers…my favourite colour 💜
