Indeed, quality takes a bit of time. Our culture programs us to want to be productive, but that can come at a cost

Patience takes effort to learn and much practice, Jane. I'm not sure if the younger generations even know the meaning. Pete took the words right out of my mouth. We live in a time of instant gratification. I even have to remind myself to be patient sometimes when I'm driving. I love the visual of how your back garden will evolve over the next few years. How nice of your neighbor and his dad to help. The puzzle is stunning, along with your lovely post. Hugs to you and Tim. xoxo

I like that Tim works about 15 minutes a day on a project. That really is the best way to get something done, and done well. I love what the Welsh call a microwave. I wish you and Tim and good week ahead as you patiently work on your projects.

Patience is indeed a virtue. There are times when I see it lacking in myself. In general, this is another area where society has changed. We have come to expect instant gratification. Yet, something we have worked hard to achieve means more to us than that which comes easily.

Patience and steady commitment to the work, gets it done. I think it was Ben Franklin who said “time keeps everything from happening at once”!
