Before today got going, I read my lovely friend Sue’s poem and blog post. There was a beat to her words, and from gearing up to face the day, I slowed back down.
Sue Dreamwalker's 'One Bead, One Thought, One Action At A Time.'
Thank you, dearest Sue, because I have continued in that slower pace. There has been much to do, and the phone has rung a lot, yet I have found myself slipping back into the pace Sue offered.
I paused to watch the birds feeding, to look at Tim as we ate our lunch, to choose my words with care on the phone and through emails sent, and to listen to the birds singing.
There are new buds on the plants in our woodland garden.

I always feel calm when leaving Sue's blog posts, Jane. Sometimes, we just need a soft reminder. Lovely post, dear friend. Sending hugs and love to you both. xoxo
Yes. Despite many pressures and concerns and catastrophes, we must slow down at least part of the time and admire/smell/marvel at the roses!
