Another wonderful muse Jane... Indeed I feel there is now a quiet acceptance in that realisation of new truths. And yes it can still shock and disturb, but it is how we each react...
Your wonderful calm, peaceful approach in your work and in your writings Jane, show us how your own compassionate care reaches out to those ' Tender Hearts' helping ease their pain, as you cover their hearts in your own easy Grace.. of such Tender Love...
The rose is beautiful Jane, just like you my dear friend...
Thank you Jane.. Our gardens are enjoying their watering of rain… They were thirsty :-) It is saving B a lot of leg work watering up and down… Wishing you both well … Much love to you both xx <3
Dearest Sue, I was hoping it would save B a lot of carrying and legwork. We're due another load of rain through the night. Much love to you and your two B's. Xxx 🩷
😊 We are welcoming in this weeks rain, it can either be friend or foe, but it has been well timed, with dry spells in-between, which meant B could get more planting done.. Big hugs xx
It's like worry isn't it Pete? The chap who commented recently, ‘Worry is like a rocking chair, you can rock like the clappers and get nowhere.’ Trying to control the uncontrollable is the same thing. Much love to you and Debbie. Wishing you both a lovely weekend. Xxx 🩷
As I get older, I embrace the simple strength of reaction. Yes, our bodies do turn on our perception of control and security. Your words are quite profound: "It is how we react" that keeps us in control. Wishing you and Time a lovely weekend.
Thank you, John. As our lovely Lauren commented recently. It's not always easy to choose our reaction, but at least we are aware that we can. Much love to you and your girls. We wish you all a lovely weekend. Xxx ❤️
Hello lovely Lauren, it isn't easy sometimes, and sometimes it rattles around our heads and hearts for way longer than we'd like. It's a work in progress isn't it? Measured breathing helps me too, and watching the trees if I can see them. Much love to you and Matt and we wish you both a lovely weekend. Xxx 🩷😘🌻🩷
Lovely post, Jane, and such truth in your wisdom. There is so much out of our control, so when I'm feeling anxious, I remind myself to stay calm, breathe gently, and ride the wave. Reacting in any other way will only hurt ourselves. Though this is easier said than done at times. :) Hugs and love to you both, and the rose is stunning! xoxoxo
Hello dearest Lauren, it is easier said than done sometimes, and I have found myself clamping my lips together and walking away.
On a lighter note, I'm trying to find a squirrel proof bird feeder. They are so clever at finding a way in!! My calmness has been rattled as the squirrels chase the little birds away...
Our rose has many buds on it now. 💗 Your new website layout is wonderful, Lauren, and I admire you for jumping through all the techie hoops.

I like your guidance, Jane. It's easy to stress over things we have no control over, but that really accomplishes nothing.

Wise words, Jane. We can only control how we react. ❤️
